About the Position:
SunGard is looking for an experienced Security Engineer for our growing Security Services team.
This position will be highly focused on Network Security and Vulnerability Threat Management concentrations.
The positionsresponsibly will be geared towards the lifecycle of existing security products and new product development.
We are looking for a self-motivated, highly independent ambitious person that can help our Security Engineering Team build the next generation of Managed Security Services Provider products.

Responsibilities:_
Design and implementation of large scale Security Infrastructures.
New Product Development of Security Products.
Creating Policy, Procedures, Standards and Guidelines around new security products.
Working with Security Vendors (McAfee, Check Point, Source Fire, Blue Coat).
Design and Implement Virtualization of Security applications and appliances (Cloud Deployments).
High level troubleshooting of security applications and appliances.
_CRITICAL COMPETENCIES:_
__Design and Implementation of:__
Check Point Multi Domain Security Manager (MDS) in a MSP or Enterprise environment managing dozens of Domains (CMAs).
Check Point Software Blades such as Firewall, IPS, Application Control, URL Filtering, and Mobile Access.
Cisco ASA X-Series application such as Firewall, AnyConnect, and IPS.
DDoS Mitigation appliances in a MSP or Enterprise environment.
Vulnerability and Threat management systems, such as McAfee ePO, NSM.
Implementation and Management of Network and Host Security Platforms such as Network Intrusion Prevention (IPS), Host Intrusion Prevention (HIPS), File Integrity Monitor (FIM), and Vulnerability Assessment.
Security Incident Event Management systems such as Arcsight, McAfee, RSA.
Site to Site IPSEC VPN, Remote Access Client and Clientless VPN, SSL VPN.
__Lifecycle Management of:__
Check Point appliances (Gaia and IPSO). Testing and certifying new releases and patches.
Cisco ASA appliances. Testing and certifying new releases and patches.
DDoS Mitigation appliances. Testing and certifying new releases and patches.
__Working knowledge with:__
Authentication, Authorization, Accounting Systems such as RSA Authentication Manager and Cisco ACS utilizing protocols such as Radius and TACACS.
Web Content Filtering Systems such as Blue Coat Proxy SG and McAfee Web Gateway.
Domain Controllers such as Microsoft Active Directory.
_EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:_
Minimum 5 years in Security Engineering role is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of Network and/or Information Security is preferred.
Expertise with UNIX & Windows operating systems is required.
Expertise with Networking required.
CISSP certification required or obtained within the first year of employment.
CCSP, CCNA Networking, CCIE Security desired.
BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
