Job Details:

Seeking two years of newborn nursery experience for this position.
Is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process. The registered professional Nurse assesses plans, intervenes and evaluates individual patient care. Also directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Qualifications/Competencies:

Must have either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact ( ). If RN licensure is from a compact state, must obtain a state of Maine RN license within 90 days of changing primary residency toMaine

BLS is required within 3 months of hire

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is require within 1 year of hire

Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) is required within 1 year of orientation to Pediatric

Fetal Monitoring - Basic (FM-B) is required within 1 year of hire

Fetal Monitoring - Advanced (FM-A) is required every 3 years for Labor & Delivery

Associate's degree

Bachelor's degree, BSN, preferred
1 year or more experience, preferred
Competencies in at least 3 areas of Maternal Child Health within one year of hire into the unit strongly preferred. Exceptions may be made by the Manager when orientation opportunity is limited
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
