Job Details:

Provides highly skilled secretarial and administrative support to the Vice President of Physician Practices and others indirectly as determined by VP. Performs duties involving highly confidential and policy matters requiring considerable knowledge and judgment regarding procedures and policies. Performs a wide variety of administrative support activities such as typing, scanning, filing, answering telephones and scheduling meetings, researching and preparing complex and confidential reports. Supports quality assurance processes across the division by assisting in the oversight of auditing processes through the preparation and distribution of reports and statistics. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality and considerable knowledge and judgment regarding procedures and policies. Is flexible in changes to normal scheduled hours to accommodate retreats, evening and early morning meetings as requested.
Qualifications/Competencies:

5 years or more of clerical experience is strongly preferred, some combinations of degree and equivalent experience will be considered.
Associate's degree in Business, Health Administration or a related field is preferred, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications, expert level strongly preferred for Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Proficient knowledge in Power Point, Visio, and Windows strongly preferred.
1 year of experience with Soarian preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in an environment with changing priorities.
Able to become proficient in electronic medical record system.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
