Duties WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAYAs a Social Science Research Analyst, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Conducting in-depth analysis of administrative data and outcomes and evaluations of existing refugee programs to support innovative approaches and evaluation to help refugees achieve self-sufficiency.
Participating in targeted research projects involving qualitative and quantitative analysis of refugee data to help identify programmatic needs, trends, and impact.
Helping design survey instruments and other data collection tools to gather information from clients, grantees, and stakeholders.
Generating information from administrative data, outcomes, and refugee data systems for the Annual Survey and the Annual Report to Congress.

Possess a degree in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.

You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (2) of the (3) duties listed below:
Conducting or overseeing research, evaluation, and analysis of human service programs to determine program effectiveness, efficiency, or impacts on populations served.
Analyzing data from human services program and/or evaluation data to recommend improvements in policies or programs; and Creating formal reports/papers, data presentations, training materials and/or program correspondence.
