As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be responsible for supporting Adults with varying developmental and intellectual disabilities as they navigate their day-to-day lives.
Furthermore, you will help the member we serve become more independent by teaching them the skills necessary to succeed.
Our Direct Support Professionals spend their shift in the community, home and/or work setting supporting our Adults with the skills needed to live their lives to the fullest.
And the best part is we will provide all necessary training at no cost to you! You could be a full certified Direct Support Professional within the next six months! Some of these training include, but are not limited to:
Direct Support Professional Training, CPR/First Aid Training, Trauma Informed Training and Mandated Reporter Training.
In order to be considered for this position, we ask that you possess the following:
Must have a valid Maine Driver's License Must have an insured, inspected, registered and reliable vehicle (we transport the individuals we serve using our own vehicles) Must be able to pass all required background checks Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age Check us out on Facebook or via our website, gallanttherapyservices.
