Seasonal 'Traveler' in HomeCare - Per Diem The Opportunity:
We are offering an exciting temporary opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the MaineGeneral Health systemThe Per Diem Seasonal Traveler RN works at least 24 hours per week in HomeCare with the opportunity to stay per diem with MaineGeneral when the assignment is completedThe schedule and travel area can change every 12 weeksPositions come with very generous pay differentials comparable to traveler payPosition Highlights:
Flexibility to work as little as 24 hours (3 shifts) or as much as 40 hours (5 shifts) per weekCall schedule & holiday availability required, in rotationPaid mileage & travel Differentials comparable to traveler pay Provides direct care to patients in the HomeCare setting, using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organizationThis is a temporary, per diem position open to external candidates onlyMaineGeneral re-hires within 6 months are not eligibleBased on departmental need, the Seasonal 'Traveler' is able to stay in this enhanced role for up to 1 yearAt that time, you will have the opportunity to stay per diem with MaineGeneral in a permanent staff RN capacityYou Have:
Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain same in a timely fashion, required At least 2 years of recent HomeCare experience in the home setting, required Valid Maine state driver's license with acceptable driving record according to MGH Policy, required Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision Strong technology/computer skills and previous experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferredYou Get:
