Job DescriptionThe OpportunityHeroes work here! MaineGeneral Health is offering an exciting opportunity to work in our state of the art laboratory as a Senior Laboratory Tech.
MGH is a teaching lab.
We have three amazing campuses in the Augusta and Waterville areas.
The Work Serves as a consultant to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
Performs precise diagnostic/analytic testing and collection of specimens.
Interprets, documents and reports test results.
Performs and evaluates quality control testing and executes instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity for test methods.
Provides excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all laboratory personnel, internal and external customers.
Utilizes problem solving and critical thinking to ensure quality management standards are met.
You Have Culture plate reading experience Certification by American Society of Clinical Pathologists -; Medical Laboratory Technician:
MLT (ASCP) OR Medical Laboratory Scientist:
MLS (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) required.
OR Certification by American Medical Technologists -; Medical Laboratory Technician:
MLT (AMT) OR Medical Technologist:
MT (AMT) required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
