Self-starter with a positive attitude and an eye for detail needed to assist with managementof special education paperwork, coordinating meeting dates, and related tasks.Skill in the use of Word and Excel are a must and knowledge of specialeducation process and documentation is a definite plus. Strong interpersonalskills, flexibility and the ability to work as a part of a team are essential.
Duties:
The candidate will assist in a variety of tasks including but not limited to assisting with the management of special education paperwork, coordinating and scheduling meetings, entering data, answering and making phone calls, typing, collating, copying, and electronic and postal mailings
Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma with Associates Degree or training certificates related to the tasks of the job. The person must have a minimum of 3 years successful experience in an office or work setting working with professionals, completing tasks, and earning trust and confidence of others to promote a positive work environment. Must be at an intermediate skill levelof using Microsoft Office tools, and maintain a valid Maine Driver''s License. Successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, as well as solid customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a high-energy and busy environment with shifting priorities.
