The Charge Nurse is a strong nursing leader who demonstrates commitment to MaineGeneral Medical Center's Nursing Vision:To serve all who enter our doors with skillfull hands & compassionate hearts. She/he is responsible for:supervision ofthe clinical operations of the patient care unit; making staffing assignments; serving as a resource and mentor for the nursing staff;creating a healthy work environment in collaboration with Partnership Council; andcollaborating with the Nurse Manager and Unit Coordinator in utilizing resources in a manner that aligns with the goals of the department. In addition, this individual abides by the principles of Relationship Based Care and the Clinical Practice Model Framework in order to achieve Patient and Family Centered Care as defined by MaineGeneral Medical Center.
Qualifications/Competencies:
Must have either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact ( ). If RN licensure is from a compact state, must obtain a state of Maine RN license within 90 days of changing primary residency to MaineBLS certification is required within 3 months of hire.
BLS required within 3 months of hire
Certification in area of specialty preferred
Bachelor's degree, in Nursing preferred
3 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse preferred
Proficient in a suite of Microsoft Office applicationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
