The Digital Travel Record Product team implements, integrates, and maintains the end-to-end travel technology solutions relating to Big Data mining. The Digital Travel Record Product team is seeking a strong Business Analyst with a big data mindset that finds creative solutions to tough problems. This role is responsible for capturing client/vendor requirements, identifying technology solutions, managing the projects to ensure end-to-end quality and operational performance. In this role, you will be working with clients, internal client managers, product teams, technology developers, and technology vendors. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of business partnering to deliver quality work efforts, the ability to influence others, strong collaboration skills and a keen understanding of how to drive results.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform data analysis and provide consultation and insight across travel data
Work closely with internal business partners within GBT in the development of new features or enhancements to other travel applications leveraging Agile project management development methodology; responsible for working with global stakeholders(internal and external) to define user stories and requirements for key business travel initiatives, interpreting the requestor's needs and driving the development approach
Assist and provide guidance to requestors on creating requirements documentation; attend/manage conference calls with internal and external clients to provide consultation and insight on development and product capabilities
Works with the technology teams(internal or external vendors) to ensure the proposed design meets business requirements and owns/drives the activities related to user acceptance testing, implementation & support strategies, and project deployment
Proactively anticipates any project risks and issues and ensures adequate mitigation efforts are put in place to ensure overall delivery is not compromised
Manage multiple projects at one time along with day to day, business as usual tasks
Deliver technical solutions in an understandable manner to non-technical users with both oral and written communications; create and manage
Analyze data for trends, troubleshoot and resolve issues

## Qualifications
Solid experience in a business analyst role that requires a consultative approach
Strong expertise in end to end travel processes & applications
2+ years experience in a business analyst role that requires a consultative approach
Familiarity with Big Data, predictive modeling and visualization
Great data analysis background-need to integrate data, correlate, and find data trends; must be very analytical
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access; ability to create, maintain, and alter Access queries and reports
Experience in writing SQL queries and manipulating large amounts of data
Must be technically savvy including strong use of web based applications, databases, and reporting applications
Working knowledge/experience in Business Intelligence products and tools
Strong collaboration & relationship building skills in a fast-paced changing environment, focus on measurable results
Proven project management skills and experience in managing several projects simultaneously
Experience creating business requirements
Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral); must be able to deliver technical solutions in an understandable manner to non-technical users
High level of technical aptitude
Highly organized and detail oriented

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
