MaineGeneral Health, the third largest healthcare system in Maine, is offering an opportunity for an experienced finace/accounting and budget leader to join our team in the key position of Controller.
We are interested in reviewing your application if you have proven, demonstrated leadership skills and are interested in leadership/supporting and guiding the growth of your team. Demonstrated project management skills, data management capabilities and an understanding of business application technology are also critical to the success of the role and your team.
Should have a demonstrated work history of increased responsbility and leadership in accounting and finance. Health care background beneficial, but not required.
CPA or HFMC is preferred.
Qualifications/Competencies:
Master's degree: Healthcare or Business Administration/Finance is required.
5 years or more directly related experience
Must be able to work independently,effectively manage time and efficiently use problem solving skills.
Must be able tomanage multiple priorities.
Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Must have confident and effective oral and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to react calmly, objectively and effectively in all situations.
Must exhibit excellent leadership and human relations skills required to lead and direct staff.
Proficiency in a suite of MS Office applications

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
