Job Details:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to patients and their families in accordance with the American Nurse's Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice. The Registered Nurse collaborates with the patients, physicians and mid-level providers to provide primary care using the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of the patients. The Registered Nurse also directs and provides patient education in the primary care setting considering patient interest, abilities and barriers to learning.
Qualifications/Competencies:
Must have either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact ( ). If RN licensure is from a compact state, must obtain a state of Maine RN license within 90 days of changing primary residency toMaine.
BLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
Associate's degree in Nursing preferred.
1 years RN experience required, 4 years in a practice environment preferred.
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications.
