Job Details:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, assesses patient's condition and health care needs and acts to meet those needs accordingly to departmental policies and nursing assessment of patient and documents appropriately on nursing record.In cooperation with the Imaging Technologist, evaluates patient's physical and psychological needs. Develops a plan of care based upon the assessment of the patient including age specific patient with physicians and other health care team members in developing the plan of care.
Qualifications/Competencies:
Must have either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact ( ). If RN licensure is from a compact state, must obtain a state of Maine RN license within 90 days of changing primary residency toMaine required.
BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire.
ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
PALS certification is required iwithin 6 months of hire.
Associate's degree in Nursing preferred.
2 years of RN experience preferred.
