This position will manage the implementations, current business and growth of the business for a global client, in alignment with the global direction and teams.
- Responsible for overall operations of the M&E model across Canada and the US and oversight for Latin America.
- Accountable for senior leadership for delivery of high levels of customer service and shareholder results
- Manage team leaders that oversee meeting planners, coordinators, and procurement specialists as required to support this business. Build effective teams with complementary strengths and create environment that supports staff continuity and retention
- Maintain close relationships with clients throughout implementations and ongoing servicing
- Partner with travel, card and other groups locally, regionally, and globally to identify and maximize opportunities to enhance account profitability
- Identify strategies to drive future enhancements of the servicing model to meet client needs
- Oversight of financials together with team and Director at the business level to ensure profitability is delivered against plan and stretch targets
- Support sales with operational expertise to grow the business

-Experience in the Meeting planner industry, and leading large, geographically dispersed teams
-Experience in Pharma/healthcare industry and relative regulations around HCP management
-Excellent oral and written communications skill and presentation abilities that ensure critical messages can be delivered succinctly for complete buy in from a variety of audiences
-Proven success in developing relationships at multiple levels within an organization
-Establishes a high standard of performance through development of short and long term plans responds appropriately and competently to demands of work challenges when confronted with change, adversity, or other pressures
-Proven ability to lead and develop a large team of employees
-Assess employee readiness levels, strengths and development needs as well as provide timely, specific coaching, development and feedback
-Recognizes systems/root causes and identifies alternative solutions through analytical approaches
-Strong financial acumen
-Proven ability to effectively lead during times of change
Educational requirement: Bachelor's degree. MBA a plus
