Responsibilities include:
Providing exceptional travel arrangements (air, car, hotel, visa/passport) to callers using consultative travel expertise with a solid documented experience in booking domestic and international travel, covering USA, Canada and international destinations.
Must have the ability to self ticket manually and not rely on Correx auto ticketing or any other product/service to assist with driving tickets.
Able to understand the nuances of the client travel policy and effectively guide travelers to adhere to it.
Accuracy in PNR completion and adequate documentation a strong necessity.
Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
Use American Express Global Business Travel and client supported automation (websites, databases etc) to support travel related functions.
Work independently in a virtual environment using a solid working knowledge of technology.
Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
o Travel industry experience- 2 years
o Experience supporting travel for high level clientele and ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever changing environment is required.
o Must have current experience and be proficient on Sabre GDS including automation tools such as ROP, QE, CORREX and Auto ticketing
o Proven experience in independent time management with multi tasking skills
o Excellent written communication skills . i.e. professional email etiquette
o Experience in resolving and owning customer service issues
o Solid working experience on Microsoft outlook, Lync, and MS Office applications ( Word, Excel )
o Must be able to troubleshoot technical challenges independently
o Possess and maintain general industry knowledge and trends
o Must be able to quickly learn and integrate policy and procedures; knowledge of American Express procedures is highly preferred
Working hours are Monday to Friday anytime between 7:00am to 9:00pm ET ( If candidate is hired in another time zone, must work the corresponding hours to match the above listed ET hours.)
Axcess@Home Requirements:
o Dedicated work space must be within own residence and that follows the ergonomic and safety guidelines for performing travel counselor duties
o Axcess@Home Agent is responsible for supplying their own furniture; desk with lockable drawer or separate lockable file cabinet, chair, document shredder, smoke detector in proximity of work area, and fire extinguisher
o Axcess@Home Agent must complete Flexible Work Arrangement Application and Agreement
o Axcess@Home Agent must complete and meet the requirements of the Work Environment and Safety Assessment
o High speed internet capability with at least 10 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload speeds: DSL or Cable (no wireless or satellite ISP's are permitted)
o Dedicated and separate analog landline phone for training and production calls (no VOIP - voice over internet protocol)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
