A growth engine within American Express Global Business Travel, American Express Meetings & Events is an organization that provides a wide range of meeting services including sourcing, full event planning , and strategic meetings program management for Fortune 500 and mid-sized corporate clients around the globe.
This position resides within the Technology team for the Meetings and Events business, a part of American Express Global Business Travel.
The System Consultant is primarily responsible for effective configuration, operation, maintenance and strategic planning for various event management platforms such as Cvent, StarCite and other related systems. Amongst other responsibilities, this individual actively collaborates with clients and internal stakeholders to help optimize the effectiveness of these applications while also ensuring that appropriate system controls are in place to meet security policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
oDevelop and sustain strong consultative relationships with key global client contacts
oLead technology implementations for new clients
oDevelop strategic roadmaps and business plans to support long term growth of client programs
oShape client thinking and influence key decision makers
oConduct internal and external business reviews of technology operations

Educational requirement: Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years of related business experience
oPreferred Additional: 2 years of meetings industry experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
