Service Performance Manager (SPM) is a critical part of the newly created Motive Dynamic Assurance (MDA) portfolio. It is a multi-domain, multi-vendor product that allows customers to take control of the service quality in their network. SPM will utilize the latest in open source technology available in the market, coupled with a wealth of integration experience for ALU to produce one of the most competitive and comprhenisve service performance managers in the market today.
Working closely with the SPM product lead, The Product Line Manager is responsible for the SPM product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product strategy, and working closely with the Engineering teams. The PLM leads the interaction with sales teams in the regions (EMEA, APAC and Americas) and with marketing and support teams to ensure revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals are met. The PLM will have the opportunity to shape the future of the Alcatel-Lucent OSS assurance business and be instrumental in growing the business and building credibility for ALU in the OSS space.
The Product Line Manager key responsibilities include:
1. Define the product strategy and roadmap to support current and future sales.
2. Manage the business and develop it to grow to profitably
3. Secure existing commitments and meet the customer satisfaction targets
1. Effectively Partner with the Business Development and Sales teams in the regions to growth the revenue
2. Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
3. Flexible for frequent travels while running the business worldwide
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 10 years experience in the telecommunications industry
2. BS engineering or computer science
3. Technical background on OSS is a must
4. Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
7. Very good networking with the regions and the sales team is an extremely appreciated plus
8. Commercial and financial acumen
