Job Details:

Responsible for providing pre-purchase technical review and ordering assistance for IT related purchases. Works closely with desktop support team managing asset inventory. Administers assignment of MaineGeneral issued cellular phones, monitors phone usage and inventory. Provides first-level response to audio-visual support issues.
Qualifications/Competencies:
Valid Driver's License required
Comptia A+ or comparable technical training certificate preferred
Technical training beyond high school preferred
1 year or more, working in a desktop hardware environment preferred
Strong computer hardware background
PeopleSoft or similar purchasing application experience preferred
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
