Department: Plant Operations
Schedule: Full-time
Shift: Day shift w/occasional evenings
Hours: 40 hours/week; 900 to 1730
Job Details:
Maintains current high integrity of all equipment and facilities for MaineGeneral and performs a variety of general maintenance duties.
Maintains safety and testing records required for AHJ's, fire marshals, the Joint Commission, State of Maine and CMS. Performs life safety testing, safety tests on electrical emergency lighting, exit sign lighting, fire alarm systems, communication systems, outlets, beds, stretchers and exam tables
Able to perform duties and responsibilities utilizing computer technologies and effective and positive communication skills
Qualifications/Competencies:
Valid Driver's License required
Technical training beyond high school preferred
5 years or more of experience is preferred
