- Overall responsibilities include the retention and growth of a portfolio of global commercial card accounts.
- Must provide proactive consultation to enhance customer relationships and drive program growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Define and execute a business plan for each client to drive growth, profitability, client satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client reviews, highlighting results and key successes, reinforcing the amex differentiated value story and aligning on key priorities going forward.
- Must understand and be current on key issues impacting our client's business.
- Accountable for developing influential client relationships that enables us to cross-sell products and services.
- Consult with client and interface with key linkages and operations to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely fashion, service quality and contractual obligations are met/exceeded.
- Internally, must collaborate with global colleagues in account development, marketing, operations, finance, and sales, to grow business and deliver results proven track record of success in past positions.

- Tenacious and results-oriented
- Experience managing external client relationships, particularly larger, more complex global companies.
- Solid strategic, consultative and communication skills to develop a client-focused account plan and address complex client needs and opportunities
- Ability to quickly build and develop deep, trusting customer relationships at many levels
- Experience leading and executing on sales strategies, presentations and subsequent negotiations
- Strong financial and analytical skills: ability to define and review pricing strategies and present present/sell in to clients
- Experience effectively leading and inspiring a team or a direct report.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence others (both with clients and with internal partners)? - Knowledge of commercial cards and/or corporate expense management a strong plus.
This position will be located virtual on the West Coast.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
