Description:
The Information Services unit is required to monitor, analyze and produce requested data submitted by external and internal customers utilizing electronic data management systems and data bases. There is currently a need for a skilled staff that can effectively develop and produce queries and update existing queries to improve efficiency and reduce the volume and length of time associated with completing the required and requested data Professional services work involving the review, examination, and evaluation of complex management systems.
JOB DESCRIPTION
50%: Run queries coordinating output with end users
25%: Utilize Microsoft desktop applications to massage and manipulate raw data into intelligible reports
25%: Gather information for management analysis
Plan all required process steps.
Review and understand the Application Teams work plan.
Provide status of work to Team Lead.
Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team. Develop contingency plans as necessary.
Engage in ongoing process improvement.
Detailed functional and process knowledge.
Utilize deep modeling, design and coding skills.
Provide expertise in one or more database environments.
REQUIREMENTS
Fingerprint Screen and MACWIS check required
Microsoft Windows, Access & Excel experience
SQL and PL/SQL experience
Query experience
Manual regression testing with MACWIS application
Knowledge of data collection and interpretation methods and techniques.
Knowledge of information management systems.
Knowledge and demonstrated abilities utilizing PL/SQL to query complex Oracle databases
Ability to gather, assemble, calculate and analyze facts and draw valid conclusions.
Required / Desired Skills
Microsoft Windows, Access & Excel Experience (Required 3 Years)
SQL Experience (Required 3 Years)
PL/SQL (Required 3 Years)
Experience running queries (Required 3 Years)
Manual regression testing (Required 3 Years)
