The Pediatric Center Clerical Support staff provides support to clinical and administrative services at the Pediatric Center. Behaves in a professional, customer-focused, service-oriented manner; displaying and promoting respect, care and dignity for all internal and external customers; facilitates a team-oriented attitude, striving continuously for service excellence. Duties include but are not limited to; Insures that medical records are organized, available, and complete, in accordance with Pediatric Center procedures, Administers and scores diagnostic screening tools, at the direction and under the supervision of the physician or clinical psychologist, Answers, screens and directs phone calls. Takes messages and provides routine information to callers, Resolves calls to completion, Requests data necessary for patient visits, including consultation request information, records from previous or additional providers, required referrals and insurance authorizations, Schedule appointments in accordance with Pedi Center procedures, Maintains the administrative database so that data needed for program administration is available and complete, Responsible for charge capture, charge entry and charge reconciliation process and may assist with patient screening on the day of the visit, under the supervision of the physician or clinical psychologist, in according with Pediatric Center patient care guidelines.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a high school diploma or GED, three or more years working in a medical practice environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently, effective time management and problem solving skills and be proficient in a variety of Microsoft office applications. 6846b15b2f8d436fae4009906766ef0c

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
