Position Summary
This individual performs a variety of routine housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
+ 1 or more years of Housekeeping experience
+ Extensive customer service experience
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Valid State of Maine Driver's License
Primary Responsibilities
+ Performs cleaning of patient/resident, ancillary and other areas daily by complying with regulatory standards.
+ Provides above areas with the necessary supplies daily.
+ Removes trash (including bio-medical waste and packaging), soiled linen and recycling from all areas daily.
+ Completes floor maintenance and projects with appropriate equipment as required.
+ Assists in transporting furniture within the facility.
+ Maintains knowledge of regulatory codes through facility training.
+ Maintains all Environmental/Hospitality Services areas and equipment daily.
+ Performs personal laundry services, distributes linen for patients/residents daily.
+ Takes initiative for own professional growth and development by attending relevant and educational meetings and training.
+ May perform other related duties as assigned.
Special Skills Preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
