Under the directions of the radiologist and radiology managers, the technologist performs radiological examinations. The technologist exercises independent and professional judgment to produce quality radiographs and abides by the policies and procedures set forth by the department. The technologist recognizes the patients condition, age limitations and abilities, and acts accordingly to provide quality care.
Qualifications:
+ Current State of Maine License for radiological Technology/Radiographer (RT) required
+ American Registry of radiological Technology (ARRT) required.
+ BLS certification within 3 months of hire required.
+ Radiological Technology School/Program beyond high school; Associates degree preferred.
+ Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications.
+ Ability to work independently.
+ Effective time management and problem solving skills.
+ Able to manage multiple priorities.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
