As a member of Liberty Healthcare's group at the Riverview Psychiatric Center, you will serve as an attending Psychiatrist and manage a caseload of approximately ten patients. You will be supported by a team of Psychiatrists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Psychologists, Social Workers, Registered Nurses and ancillary professionals. Additionally, you will have the ability to serve on various hospital committees and work groups.
The Riverview Psychiatric Center is a modern Joint Commission-accredited and 100-bed hospital which offers a wide array of inpatient assessment and treatment services to male and female patients who have serious mental illness. The Riverview Psychiatric Center also serves as the primary evaluation and treatment facility for court-ordered forensic patients as well as mentally ill inmates of the Maine Department of Correction.
The Riverview Psychiatric Center is situated in the Augusta, Maine - a few hours north of Boston and in close proximity of the beautiful Maine coast. Augusta is commutable from Portland, Yarmouth, Brunswick and many other towns in central and southern Maine.

Skills/Requirements
Well-qualified candidates will possess the following attributes:
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program
Active Maine medical or osteopathic license in good standing (or willingness to apply for licensure)
An interest in serving adults who have serious and persistent mental illness
