Management and Program Assistant

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Determines labor mapping & cost accounting for Nursing Service; Collects & analyzes nursing workload data; Tracks overtime & compensatory hours; Tracks expenditures and patient assessment data; Captures meeting minutes; Extracts data for staffing/recruitment purposes; Assists with fiscal activities of Nursing Service; Assists with preparation of budget proposals; Develops proposals for procurement of equipment; Conducts inventory review for Equipment Inventory List (EIL); Responsible for Government Purchase Card with relation to procurement of goods & supplies; Revises/renews policies and standards of procedure (SOP); Serves as Personal Identification Verification (PIV) Manager & Sponsor; Serves as Information Technology Liaison (ITL); Provides information security training to new employees, as needed; Ensures accuracy of organizational charts; Schedules meetings and prepares applicable agenda(s); Provides administrative support; Serves as patient advocate for Nursing Service & responds to congressional inquiries and Participates in various committees as the delegate for the Supervisory HAS. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements, by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-6 position, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-5. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade, GS-5, in the normal line of progression, for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants who have the 1 year of appropriate specialized experience, as indicated in the table, are not required by this standard to have general experience, education above the high school level, or any additional specialized experience to meet the minimum qualification requirements You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
