Management and Program Assistant

The major duties include but are not limited to:
Determines Labor Mapping/Cost accounting to indicate which departments should shared the costs of equipment procurements and which departments employees' costs should be pointed; Collects and analyzes workload data, tracks overtime hours and expenditures, compensatory time, performance improvement data and patient assessment data; Assists with preparation of budget proposals for management, based on knowledge of operational needs of the various programs, historical data and changes in hospital programs; Works closely with the professional and technical staff to develop proposals for procurement of equipment, prioritizes the services' needs and prepares for all required paperwork; Serves as Government Purchase card holder and procures goods and supplies for Nursing Service; Revises/renews program-related policies and standards of procedure and maintains comprehensive procedures manuals; Ensures that all organization charts are accurate and updated; Arranges meetings, prepares meeting agendas and related meeting information and ensures that required audio-visual equipment is available for the meeting; Provides clerical assistance for a variety of actions including typing meeting minutes, policies, memorandums, scheduling etc.; Routes memoranda, circulars, minutes, notification of personnel actions and other communication materials to the service; Provides employees with authorized keys and maintains a logbook by key, issue date, turn-in date and employee; Initiates and processes request for Personnel Actions such as appointments, promotions, resignations, terminations, conversions to accepted appointment, awards and transfers; Serves as a patient advocate for the service and counsels patients/families and attempts to satisfy needs and/or questions; Performs other related duties as assigned. Experience:
You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-5) in the Federal service that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the Management and Program Assistant position to be filled. Specialized experience includes:
performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties; typing meeting minutes, policies, memorandums, scheduling appointments; collecting and analyzing data; preparing budget materials; using automated software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); communicating and working effectively with management team and a wide variety of individuals; and having the ability to gather, analyze and evaluate information. NOTE:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
